## The next edition time looks wrong [#the-next-edition-time-looks-wrong]

Edit the list and check its local time, IANA time zone, cadence, and weekday or day of month. The time
zone—not the browser's current location—controls daylight-saving behavior and the displayed next run.

## The list did not run [#the-list-did-not-run]

* Confirm the list is active rather than paused or archived.
* Confirm the displayed next edition has passed in the configured time zone.
* Refresh the detail page and inspect its recent status.
* Use **Run now** once to test the inputs without changing the recurring schedule.

## Run now produced no EPUB [#run-now-produced-no-epub]

The list needs a readable entry newer than its saved position. Confirm at least one selected feed or
newsletter has new content. eReader Relay does not send an empty edition merely because a run was
requested.

## An old item appeared on the first run [#an-old-item-appeared-on-the-first-run]

The first edition intentionally includes the latest existing entry so setup can be verified. Later
editions use only newer entries for that list.

## Content appeared in one list but not another [#content-appeared-in-one-list-but-not-another]

Each reading list keeps its own source progress. Compare their selected sources, creation time, last
run, and schedule rather than assuming they share one global cursor.

## The book stayed in the library [#the-book-stayed-in-the-library]

No device may have been selected in the list's **Delivery** step. Select destinations for future
editions or send the existing book from the library.

## Editing or archiving changed future behavior [#editing-or-archiving-changed-future-behavior]

Edits apply to future editions. Pausing stops scheduled runs but preserves the list. Archiving removes
it from active scheduling while keeping its history and generated books.
