# iPhone and iPad app (/docs/troubleshooting/ios-app)

Start with the symptom you see. For how the app works, read the
[iPhone and iPad app guide](/docs/guides/ios-app).

| Symptom | What to do |
| ----------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| eReader Relay is missing from the share sheet | Scroll to the end of the app row and tap **More**, or tap **Edit Actions…** below the actions, and turn on **eReader Relay**. Restart the phone if it still does not appear after installing. |
| The share sheet says **Sign in to share** | Open the app and sign in, then choose a destination on **Destinations**. The share sheet only works once both are done, and stops after you sign out or the session expires (sessions last 30 days). |
| The share sheet says the destination is no longer available | The eReader or reading list was removed or archived on the website. Open the app, go to **Destinations**, and choose another. |
| The share sheet says **Nothing to send** | The app you shared from did not include an http or https link. Share the page from Safari, or copy its link into the app's **Send** tab. |
| **Plan limit reached** | Your plan's allowance for EPUB sends or reading lists is used up. The message says which limit applies; see [Billing](/docs/guides/billing) for each plan's limits. |
| A reading list is missing from **Destinations** | Only active reading lists appear. Resume the list on the website, then pull down on **Destinations** to reload. |
| A new eReader is missing from **Destinations** | Pull down on **Destinations** to reload after adding the device on the website. |
| A send stays **Queued** or **Building** | Keep the app open; it checks for up to an hour. Long or image-heavy pages take longer. If nothing changes, check the [EPUB library](/docs/guides/epub-library) on the website. |
| **Not delivered** | Relay could not read the page or send the email. See [Article capture](/docs/troubleshooting/article-capture) for pages that cannot be read and [Delivery](/docs/troubleshooting/delivery) for email problems. |
| **Delivered**, but nothing on the Kindle | Add the Relay sender to Amazon's approved list ([Kindle approved sender](/docs/guides/kindle-approved-sender)), check the device's Send-to-Kindle address, and allow a few minutes. |
| The sign-in sheet closes without signing in | Tap **Sign in** again and finish with **Allow app**. If it keeps failing, see [Sign-in troubleshooting](/docs/troubleshooting/sign-in). |
| The title shows the website's name instead of the article | Relay replaces it with the article's title once it has read the page; **Recently sent** updates while the app is open. |
